Once you submit a CSS/PROFILE, you will receive an Acknowledgment / Data Confirmation Report from College Board. The acknowledgment includes the data you entered on your application and the list of colleges to which you’ve chosen to send your financial aid information. Print and then file this acknowledgment in your Financial Aid / Scholarship folder. You may be asked to provide this to the school you choose to attend.

It is not uncommon for individual schools to request additional information in support of your financial aid application. Some colleges or scholarship programs may request you provide additional documents through College Board’s Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC). You will be sent notification from College Board if such information is needed. Check your email daily for important correspondence and be sure to reply immediately.
