Drzewiecki's productions. His first boat, a small affair of only a ton displacement, was completed and launched in 1887 and was tested at Toulon and Cherbourg. Its principal peculiarity was that instead of being built up, it was cast in a single piece of bronze. It was short and fat, just over 16 feet long, nearly 6 feet high, and a little over 3 feet wide.
