Another consideration to keep in mind when selecting a supplemental heating source is your heat-delivery requirements. Will you need a sudden burst of heat for a day or two, every other week during a cold spell, or will you need a system that provides a steadier amount of heat, for example, one that operates most nights during the dead of winter? Will you need a lot of heat or just a little?
