XI The Law of Attraction

1. Based on the wisdom of Madeline Bridges’ poem, what examples of “the best” have come back to you in your life? List at least three examples of your life reflecting back your goodness to you.

2. “He profits most who serves best” is a powerful quote. However, serving others from an inauthentic place of “I should do it” rather than “I want to do it” can deplete your energy, rather than build it. Write a list of how you serve others. Then note which actions come from a place of “wanting to” and which come from the place of “I should”. Then contemplate either removing the “should” activities from your life, or changing your perception of them. Note the shift in your physical energy once you complete this exercise.

3. How do you currently provide more value when you serve others?

4. How might you improve, so that you go the extra mile when serving others?

5. Perhaps more significantly, how do you feel when you give a little more value? Do you like yourself more? How much does that self-respect add to your physical, emotional and mental energy?

6. Your hopes can be so drowned by your fears that they never have a chance to be manifest. Ask yourself this question, “What is the worst thing that can happen if I give focusing on my greatest desire my total commitment?” Is it worth fighting for?

7. “If you once open up a channel of service by which the Universal Mind can express itself through, its gifts will flow in every increasing volume and YOU will be enriched in the process.” Seeing yourself as a channel through which the Universal Mind can flow, takes you away from personal responsibility and ownership. Does this free you to apply your focus and commitment?

8. Have you ever considered how you are positively affecting the world in the work that you do? Take some time to list the ways in which you currently contribute to the world.

9. The larger your channel, the greater the opportunities come your way. How might you grow your channel?

10. Like the parable of the talents, are there talents you currently have that you are not using? If so, list them? Is there a way you can dig them up and start to use them?

11. Are there talents that you would like to develop, but have not? Write a list of them and set an intention and schedule to unearth them.

12. If you want to make more money, focus on how you can make it for others. What might you do with your talents to help others find abundance in their lives?

13. How might you improve upon the work that you are currently doing? Can you do further reading or research to enhance your knowledge and skills?

14. How might you make more money for your employers?

15. Is there any way you can save money for your customers?

A Blank Check

16. In Gardner Hunting’s article, she emphasizes that we get back more than we give.
