6.1.2 Configuring the SAP Host Agent

After SUM has been unpacked, log in to the installation environment with user <SID>adm. From the command prompt, use the following command to configure the SAP Host Agent:

/usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/abap # ./SUMSTART confighostagent

You should receive a message indicating that the SAP Host Agent has been configured.

6.1.3 Adjusting the DMO parameter file

Once the SAP Host Agent has been configured, you need to make some changes to the DMO import configuration file. Each command below should be run from the command prompt of the installation environment. These commands will create an update parameter file.

vi /usr/sap/<SID>/SUM/abap/bin/SAPup_add.par

# Mass Import feature

/clonepar/imp/procenv = HDB_MASSIMPORT=YES

# Creation of primary key after the import

/clonepar/indexcreation = after_load

# Change the schema name from the standard

/migrate/targetschemasid = <NEW_NAME>

# Skip stats update for Oracle

/ORA/update_spacestat=0
