“I heard you are doing DevOps now,” the manager of the sales department says on entering the Sprint Review. “You realize that it is not enough to align development and operations, don’t you? We in the sales department want to make sure that business concerns and customer perspectives are also considered. We have read a bit about this, and we think we should do BizDevOps.”

One Development Team member inhales deeply in preparation of her answer. “It’s great that you are interested in how we can improve cross-department collaboration. Let me explain to you what DevOps means and how we are trying to develop a DevOps culture and mindset. Can we talk tomorrow when our Sprint has started?”

“Sure. Can you send me an invitation?”
