Weaving Sources into Your Prose

How do you weave sources into your writing gracefully? One common way is to use the punch-line technique (see Chapter 3). Start your sentence with set-up information that identifies the text and/or author, and then state the argument of the text itself. Here’s a nice example from Robin Dunbar’s The Trouble with Science:
