“I’d barely noticed her,” he said.

Marie, Lori, Christa, and I all rolled our eyes. “Come on, dude,” Lori said. “Nobody believes you. That girl makes supermodels look plain and ordinary.”

“Her body…she’s like a comic book superhero,” Christa gushed.

“She even smells great!” Marie said.

Jan, the janitor walked over to our table. “In all my years of being at this school, I’ve never seen anybody like her. She even reached down and picked up a piece of paper on the floor! Then she put it in the recycle bin. I’ve never seen a student or teacher ever do that.”

Knowing Jan was also a powerful wizard, I decided to see if she’d sensed anything different about Natasha. “You think she’s just a nice normal girl?” I asked Jan.

Jan shook her head and laughed. “Heck no! Nothing normal about that girl! Truthfully, she makes the rest of you look like cavemen….”

“Isn’t that a bit harsh?” I asked.

“Nope!” Jan said.
