obedience to the divine plan.

"Then let men enter nirvana. Then let them call for an end to all human sensation. If they will, let them terminate individual sight and sound, turning it on or off as they please—for those who identify with reality need no longer rely upon the senses to establish that which is real. They will have become reality. The ugly duckling of the human self will have become the Divine Swan, the Par amah ansa. * As he swims in the sea of spirituality and omnipresence, he is a part of divine awareness. He senses every storm and ripple in the universe of human consciousness; yet he bears the tranquility of the great depths at the very apex of God's consciousness.

"There is no need for man to leap across the initiatic span and leave behind a part of himself—a very important part. For after all, the four lower bodies that you have used are the platform upon which you have gained experience and thereby evolved your individuality. Herein are stored the very atoms of your life and your devotion—literal universes in action. It can be said that these systems evolving within you await your own conscious resurrection in order that the atoms within the orbit of your identity may also be raised into their freedom." 40

The Translation of Enoch

Saint Germain tells us: "It is necessary that we consider the wonderful phenomenon that took place in the life of Enoch, 'the seventh from Adam,' 41 who was translated that he should not see death. For the fear of death has caused many individuals to recoil from passing through this change and to desire to retain their life forever in one physical form. Unless man were able, however, to escape from the restrictions of the finite form at will, he would find this state to be somewhat of a prison as * Paramahansa (Sanskrit): Divine swan, great-souled being.
