CHAPTER FIVE

HEALING CHILDREN

“Dear God and Archangel Raphael, please watch over my children

and ensure their health and safety. Please guide me to be

the best parent possible and provide for all of their needs.”

I’ve always believed that Heaven gives top priority to children, and that the angels do their best to keep them healthy and safe. In cases where adults are mistreating children, I believe the angels must feel frustrated that they’re unable to violate those abusive adults’ free will. Still, the angels do their best to watch over the children of the world.

Archangel Raphael seems to hold a special place in his heart for children. His healing work is welcomed by young, pure hearts that accept his gifts with grace and gratitude.

In this chapter, all but one of the children’s names have been changed to protect their privacy. The adults’ names are all real (as they are in the entire book). The following stories are particularly poignant since the kids see and feel Raphael’s presence during their healings because of their trusting nature and open minds.

For example, Ruby Niecke was with her nieces, ages 12 and 14, at her lake cottage. In the evenings, they’d share Archangel Oracle Card readings with each other. The eldest niece, Fiona, kept pulling Archangel Raphael cards, so Ruby shared as much information as she could about the healing angel.

The last afternoon of their vacation, a bee stung Fiona’s left foot. Ruby took the girl’s foot in her hands and said, “It’s okay … let’s call upon Raphael. Take deep breaths in and out, and he will heal you.”

Fiona said, “He’s with us!” and then her crying stopped and she said, “Oh my God, Auntie Ruby, the pain is gone!”

Then Fiona started to dance in a twirling motion while singing, “Thank you, Raphael! You healed my foot!” Her perfect faith in the angels allowed her to receive this instant healing. We can learn so much from children’s examples!
