When dusk began to fall, Wilson looked at her watch.

“I have to go home,” she said. “Or my mum and Gabriel will be worried.”

“Just one more!” pleaded Errol. “Look!”

He pointed to a stall where you had to use a big hammer to hit a red button as hard as you could. A small ball shot up a pole to show how hard you had struck the button.

“I didn’t bring enough money,” groaned Wilson. There were only a few coins in her backpack.

“Don’t worry, I have money,” said Errol.

Even though it was cold, the man at the stall was wearing a tank top. His muscular arms were full of tattoos. “So, buddy, you wanna show the girlie how strong you are?” he asked Errol in a gruff voice and winked.

Wilson wanted to tell the man that she wasn’t a “girlie”, but his size made her think twice. Errol paid the man and handed Wilson the hammer.

“No, you first,” she said.

Errol struggled to pick up the hammer.

“You have three tries,” said the man with the tattoos. He looked at Errol’s small arms and chuckled.

Errol hit the red button.
