Getting Into This Stretch

Lie on your back and slightly bend both knees while placing your feet on the floor. Lift your left arm across your body, bend your elbow, and allow the person assisting you to grasp your left wrist and elbow.

Adding Resistance While Stretching

Continuously contract the muscles you are about to stretch on the front of your chest and the inside of your arms by pressing against the hands of the person assisting you as she opens your arm upward and outward. Repeat 6-10 times. Return to the starting position and then switch sides.
