Chapter 16

Once Raven made it home she was a nervous wreck. She didn’t know if Trinity or Shareef had told Sincere anything. She knew that over time Sincere and Jahrein had developed a bond, so she didn’t want him ratting her out. She was about to lose her mind. The guilt of what she’d done was weighing heavily. She might have felt a little better if her secret wasn’t in so many hands.

“What the fuck was I thinking?” she asked herself as she soaked in her tub. She’d heard stories of people douching to tighten their walls so she was trying it. As soon as she finished she wrapped the douche in tissue and placed it in the waste basket. She’d only technically cheated on Jahrein one time before and she was fifteen at the time, so this was new territory for her. “Get it together, bitch.”

“Baby, where you at?” she heard Jahrein say from the bedroom.

“In here.” she said.

“Oh.” he smiled as he walked into the bathroom. “How long you gon be?”

“I don’t know. Why, you need to get in?”

“Naw. I’m just gon hop in the shower. I just wanted to know how long I had to wait for you to get in bed with me.”

“Oh, I don’t know, baby. I’m cramping real bad.” she lied.

“Cramping?” Jahrein asked confused. “But you just had your period two weeks ago.”

Damn. Why does he have to keep up with every damn thing? “I know, but I’m bleeding again. I might need to go to the doctor.”

“Yeah, alright.” he nodded before leaving the bathroom. Raven let out a sigh of relief only for her moment to be short lived. He came back into the bathroom stark naked and got into the all glass shower.

Fuck! Raven wanted to get out of the tub but she knew exactly what he was doing. He wasn’t going anywhere until he saw some blood. Jahrein was waiting for her to get out of the tub. He wanted to see her wipe herself before placing a pad in her panties. He didn’t give a damn how long it took, but she was going to show him. Blood was the only thing that could stop him from getting pussy, and sometimes, depending on how heavy the flow, the blood wasn’t even a factor. He needed a fix every night or he couldn’t sleep.

Raven’s water had gone from hot to cold, but she still refused to get out the tub. Jahrein had finally gotten out of the shower but was still lingering around in the bathroom. He’d brushed his teeth, flossed, and was now brushing his waves in the mirror.

“Raven, I know that water is cold. When are you getting out?” he asked while continuing to look in the mirror.

“When these cramps go away.” she sighed.

“Well, take some Midol or some shit.”

“I did. It didn’t work.”

“Damn. You must be bleeding heavy.”

“I guess.” she shrugged.

Jahrein glanced over at his wife and noticed that she was shriveling up like a prune. “Baby, you need to get out that water.
