Clearly organized, simple to read, not in color so that copying is easier.

Chronological with dates of employment starting from most recent.

No more than two pages (preferably one); includes talents, hobbies, specialties.

Neat and typo-free and without whiteout.

I am most impressed with resumes that include:

Computer or software expertise.

Languages spoken and/or written other than English.

For recent grads, part-time and/or volunteer work statements that specify which jobs were paid.

Education, with university, date, and degree received.
