Getting on Twitter

The first thing to do is sign up for a Twitter account. Its free. Visit www.twitter.com and you will be greeted with text that asks “New To Twitter? Sign Up.” This will lead you directly into the Twitter sign-up process. One of the first things that Twitter will ask you is to choose a username. If you are establishing a personal account, choose something unique but not embarrassing. If it’s available, try to get your real name. If you are establishing a Twitter account for your business, then you should use your business name or something close if the name is already taken.
