The Luckiest Guy in the Room

Donnie Gould is probably the luckiest guy in the room, one of those guys who always seem to be in the right place at the right time. You know, the kind of guy who had the best-looking girlfriend in high school, and every coin he finds on the ground is always facing heads-up.

But as a wise man once said, you make your own luck, and Gould certainly has made his own. Gould is a partner in the RM Auction organization, which puts on world-class events in Monterey, Amelia Island, and around the world. So he is constantly in tune with cars and collections that have potential as auction candidates.

Prior to joining RM, the 48-year-old man owned Donnie Gould Restorations in Vero Beach, Florida. His shop was known for authentic restorations performed for some of the hobby’s biggest players. For instance, he was charged with restoring Donald Campbell’s Bluebird for NASCAR’s France family. This priceless speed-record car is proudly displayed today in the lobby of Daytona USA.
