Peach Upside Down Cake

Total Time Taken: 1 hour

Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients:

¼ cup butter, melted

¼ cup whole milk

¼ teaspoon salt

1 egg

½ cup light brown sugar

½ cup sour cream

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons butter

4 peaches, sliced

Directions:

Position the peaches at the bottom of a 9-inch round cake pan coated with baking paper.

Drizzle with brown sugar and top with a few pieces of butter.

For the batter, combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a container. Put in the rest of the ingredients and stir for a few seconds to mix.

Spoon the batter over the peaches and preheat your oven and bake at 350F for about half an hour.

When finished, flip the cake upside down on a platter.

Serve chilled.
