Drawing the throat chakra

Now open your throat centre, both front and back. The vibrations are higher again. You have to increase your concentration to focus purely on this area. What functions are performed by the throat? How can this be applied to acknowledging a higher truth and living by it? Fulfilment in your profession is also found in this chakra. How does that relate to the throat area? Creativity is another important aspect of the throat chakra. What does creativity mean in a larger, universal context? What do truth and integrity really mean? What image or symbol is compatible with these thoughts? Blame is often stored in this chakra. How do we alleviate blame and how can the throat chakra help us in this act? Can you relate any animal or life force to this chakra? How do the words ‘I will’ follow the path of higher spiritual truth? Is sky blue the right colour for the throat chakra? Notice if anything else is right for your interpretation.

Draw when you feel ready, remembering there are two openings to the throat centre. Have you been discovering an affirmation for each chakra? What is suitable for the throat area? Use the colours you are drawn towards. Notice if you want to change the shape here. Be aware of ever changing vibrations in your work. Does this drawing feel different again from your heart chakra? Remember to mark your drawing ‘Throat Chakra’.

Now cleanse fully and wash away any sensations from your throat area. Close your throat carefully. Take a moment to pull some Cosmic Energy down into your system to refresh you. You may be feeling a little tired now. When you’re ready, move on to your brow chakra.
