4. Robust Mushroom Soup

Ingredients
1 packet button mushroom
1 bay leaf
11â2 cups water
1â2 tsp garlic
Green chillies according to taste
Salt to taste
1â2 cup skimmed milk
A few slices of wholegrain bread
A pinch of crushed black pepper
How to
Clean and quarter the mushrooms.
Next, add 1 1â2 cups of water into the pressure cooker, and add the mushrooms (leave some aside), bay leaf, garlic and green chillies.
Turn it off after one whistle and allow it to cool.
Blend it into a thick puree in the blender and add the milk.
Boil the remaining mushrooms till tender and add them to the soup.
Add pepper and a few baked croutons and serve hot.
