The limo was waiting for him, already, and he shook hands farewell to Vicki, careful to maintain a professional tone in public. The driver seemed to know what was going on, and it wasn’t until he had brought Tim to the hotel to grab his bags, and then dropped him off at the office, that he spoke.

Tim pocketed the instruction sheet, and strode to keep up with Katya.
