[ ] MINICART DISPLAY
When a product is added to the shoppers “cart,” be sure this action is made clear without pushing the visitor to another page. This can be done with a sidebar that displays all items in the cart, or a simple pop-up message that notifies them that the product was added. The goal is to make sure the “add to cart” action does not disengage the visitor from the product page they are viewing.
[ ] DISPLAY PAYMENT OPTIONS
Be clear as to which payment options you accept. A good way to do this is to display visual payment options (PayPal, VISA logo, etc.) in a global navigational area so it shows on every page, including the shopping cart. This provides comfort to the visitors, before they even begin shopping, that you accept the payment method of their choice.
[ ] MAJOR CREDIT CARDS
Display the logos of the credit cards you accept. Many shoppers use specific cards for payment. If you don’t accept AmEx or Discover, they need to know. If you do, they will want to know that as well so they can continue shopping, confident they will have a hassle-free checkout.
