“V-v-vampire sh-sh-sheep!” I stuttered.

Now most normal little old ladies would be terrified if they came face to face with a small flock of vampire sheep in a dark wood. But as I had already discovered, this was no ordinary little old lady. This little old lady did not look scared at all. In fact, she looked very hacked off.

“Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear,” she said, rolling up the sleeves of her cardigan. “You have been BAA BAA bad sheep.”

You will NOT believe what she did next. She reached into her handbag, pulled out a big flask and unscrewed the lid! We were about to get EATEN by bloodsucking sheep and she was going to pour herself a cup of tea?

“THIS IS NO TIME FOR TEA!” I shouted down to her in a panic as the sheep totally ignored her and crowded around the bottom of my tree. I clung on to the trunk for dear life.

“This ain’t no tea, me duckaluck,” she said – and she threw the contents of her flask all over the lampires!

Then something really freaky happened. When the “tea”, which smelled like garlic and nightmares by the way, hit the sheep, their wool started to fizz and a stinky yellow steam came from them. Then their fangs started to get smaller and smaller until they turned back into ordinary sheepy-looking teeth. Then their creepy red eyes faded into ordinary sheepy-looking eyes and then finally they all turned back into ordinary sheepy-looking sheep.
