(2) 5-foot pieces of 1½-inch diameter PVC pipe

(2) 8½-inch pieces of 1½-inch diameter PVC pipe

(2) 3-inch pieces of 1½-inch diameter PVC pipe

(1) 6-inch piece of 1½-inch diameter PVC pipe (cut piece after dry fitting procedure, see above)

(2) 1½-inch diameter PVC pipe unions. (A “union” is a specific fitting that allows you to connect two non-rotating pipes together. Ask for these at larger hardware and home stores. If you cannot find one locally, they may be ordered on the Internet; search under “plumbing supplies.”)
