Chapter Eleven

TELEPATHY AND YOUR AHA! FACTOR

Now that we have learned the mechanics of setting intention, how our intuition works and the anatomy of the Aha! Moment, it is time to learn about the next part of our Energetic Communication System – telepathy.

One of the least talked-about parts of our Energetic Communication System is that of telepathy – the ability to communicate by non-verbally sending and receiving pictures, words, a request, a longing, even a song to another person by our focused thoughts or energy.

Telepathy is a combination of energy and intention that engages your intuitive senses – the Four Clairs that we discussed in the previous chapter – and our use of the energetic grid to focus and transfer thoughts, feelings and emotions to others. We can also receive telepathic messages and often do so without attributing it to this energetic ability.

If you think carefully I am sure you will be able to find times when you communicated telepathically with someone. Have you ever been thinking about a person and they just call you up on the phone, out of the blue? Or thought of something that you needed from the store, but were too busy to get and your spouse came home with it after work saying, “I don’t know why but something just told me to get it”? Have you ever walked into a room and could feel someone was angry with you or had been talking badly about you and later found out that it was true? Have you ever thought of your pet when they are on the other side of the house and seemingly out of nowhere they came into the room where you were, seeking attention. And has anyone ever said “Oh, your ears must have been burning – we were just talking about you!”

These are all examples of your telepathic abilities in action. This part of our Energetic Communication System proves that we share thoughts on our energetic grid of creation even when we don’t verbalize them. And these thoughts can happen from thousands of miles away. We are all connected and once you realize this personal power you can expand your ability to send and receive information more powerfully than you can imagine.

Let’s take a look at a few of the ways that you can deliberately work with your telepathic abilities. Many years ago I used to teach intuitive classes for children. I was hired by moms to come over after school and teach their kids how to work with energy and engage their natural intuitive abilities. Kids are fantastic at this because they do not need to intellectualize, criticize, judge or mentally understand the mechanics of what they are learning before they will give it a try. This is completely opposite to the way adults learn.

One of the games we would play was for the brother, who I will call Bobby, and his sister Sally to send each other messages through their thoughts. First I would have them sit cross-legged with their backs to each other.
