Factors and Jurisdiction-Selection Process

There are many factors involved in selecting the proper jurisdiction for an Offshore Trust. First and foremost, the foreign situs must have favorable Trust legislation. Secondly, there must be stable and professional Trustees available to serve in that capacity.

Another factor is that the offshore jurisdiction must have favorable tax laws, to ensure that the Trust is not taxed in such jurisdiction.
