I woke up the next morning with nerves jumbling about in my stomach, but it wasnât nerves, it was morning sickness. My face was over the toilet and I wanted to throw up but I couldnât. These morning sickness spells were fucking irritating. âGod, being pregnant sucks. Makes me want to start believing in abortions,â I said aloud, spitting into the toilet. I looked into the toilet watching my suspended spit maneuver in the water. âHow did I come to this?â
You know the kernel of truth theory? The theory that says that there is some bit of truth in every stereotype? Well, as I sat there, nauseous in front of my toilet, I couldnât help but think that I was supporting that theory by getting up on the pole. I used to think I was good at defying many stereotypical thoughts and behaviors as a female, girlfriend, or what have you, but look at me now: Fiona the stripper. No one in the crowd is going to see the reasons why I am: Fiona the stripper. They are just going to see some whore that has daddy issues or was touched by her uncle or some fucked up shit like that. Fuck. But I did have daddy issues. Donât you hate it when, sometimes, stereotypes hold true? Especially when they are true about you.
My first night dancing preoccupied me with a sense of anxiety Iâve never experienced before. I was nervous because I hadnât picked out a name yet. I thought it over and considered that maybe if I dyed my hair that I could somehow create a new persona and find my name.
After I finished dyeing my hair, I stared at myself in the mirror, gazing at the new face reflected back at me. I had never been blonde before. I was never mystified by the allure that men and women had toward blondes, but I thought that going blonde would be a good âprofessionalâ move. When I debuted my new look to Keane he looked unimpressed. âWhatâd you do that for?â he asked skeptically.
âJust thought Iâd try something new, you know, for a change. You donât like it?â
âNo. I mean, I do. Itâs hot and all. Itâs just, well, different. You just look more like a âvivacious vixenâ,â he said throwing up quotation marks jokingly. âItâs hot. Kinda just makes me want to fuck the shit outta ya right now. No different than you with brown hair, but I would like to give the blonde a try.â
Oh my God, I did NOT want to have sex while I had a baby in my uterus! How awkward! But, I said yes anyway, in the most seductive of ways I could manage. âWell come on and give her a try,â And with that, our bodies and imaginations went into their routine. I believe that this sexual romp in particular was particularly inspiring. Keane wanted to be dominated in the âworst wayâ and I got so caught up in being allowed
