Obviously, TR cared a lot about reading and writing. He cared so much, he even tried to change the English language.
When you think about it, English is a weird language. Teachers always tell you to âsound it out,â but a lot of word spellings just donât make any sense. Like the word tough. Why is it spelled T-O-U-G-H? Wouldnât it be easier for everybody if it was spelled T-U-F-F?
