Craving

I CRAVE FOR LONELINESS

where others crave for food

I crave for empty streets

lonely clouds

deserts

empty houses

to look at my past

to pass through that empty door

to look at that mirror

where nothing remains

and be happy

for myself

by myself

the luck of the draw.

Forgetting

I HAVE FORGOTTEN MORE than I'll

ever remember

A hard disk erased of memories

maybe gone forever

because of a virus

maybe to be saved someday

I have forgotten more than I

remember

and not the trivial things

I have forgotten

the smell of my first lover

the title of my first poem

one day of my life

from dawn till dusk

before I was twelve years old

I have forgotten

the smile of my hometown

the color of my room

I have forgotten the date

of my death.

I have forgotten more

than I'll ever remember.
