Chapter Thirteen

I groan as Reece places me gently onto the sofa, I curl up and wait for my healing to kick in. Reece watches me with worry written all over his face. I smile at him before looking around for Jake, Ivan nods to me and we all wait for Jake.

My eyes start to close, the blood loss causing me to become more tired than I have been for a while.

“You need to stay awake, I took too much and I can hear your heart struggling. I’m really sorry, it’s just your blood is like an addiction” Reece mutters before sliding onto the sofa and lifting my legs up to make me lay down.

“It’s to do with the mating bond, in the werewolf world to complete the bond you both need to bite each other and that makes werewolves addicted to each other's blood. I’ve done my research and as you are mates and you are a vampire it makes her blood even more enticing to you” Ivan says, my mouth pops open as I stare at my brother.

“I didn’t know you knew stuff like this” I reply, a laugh bubbles from me and he raises his eyebrow at me.

Footsteps from the bedrooms take my attention as we all turn and wait for Jake to come into the room.

I smile and sit up as he opens the door, I jump up and ignore the dizziness as I rush to him. He laughs as I hug him tightly, Ivan joins the hug and we all laugh at each other.

“I have an idea! If we cannot go out yet let’s just have a fun day, after what we have been through we need to just relax and be together” I say as I pull away from Jake.

“I’m in” Ivan grins and I roll my eyes as he rushes to get some films.

“I’ve got the food!” Reece laughs and uses his speed to get food for us.

“Come on, let’s get the sofa before they come back” I grin and help Jake to the sofa.

“No fair!” Ivan whines as he carries an arm full of films.

“You snooze you lose!” I reply with a laugh.

He puts in a film and we all cuddle up, Reece hands me the popcorn and we play the film.
