There are many different ways that life can challenge us but these can sometimes pale into insignificance to the challenges which a curse can cause. I also feel that it also should be explained that curses sometimes although bad lots of the time, simply look like life’s ups and downs and that curses are a lot like other things in life. But this brings me to my next point and that is that if a person does not know they have been curse is it still worthwhile? For some people what they may seek is for the person to know that it is them, and although cursing is not illegal how you tell someone you are going to or have cursed them is actually quite delicate, because if it is done incorrectly it could be classed as threatening behaviour although I also realise that a lot of the time it is better and safer to strike your enemy using curses from out of the shadows so to speak: the person not knowing it is you. It really is a matter of choice how you wish to do this, and it is an entirely personal matter. But what I do offer here are curses to use and in this chapter I will show you different curses using the evil eye. But also I realise that life is difficult and that curses are sometimes necessary for people to move ahead and to get what they want. It is this that causes our life to take the direction we want, instead of what direction it does: curses are empowering because they help us beat a more powerful enemy in fact an enemy which would be so powerful that they would otherwise be impossible to get to because with magick it does not matter if you enemy is even more powerful or surrounded by bodyguards; this doesn’t matter because we can reach through even the most impervious walls with our magick.

It is possible to add all types of extra dimensions to an evil eye curse. Evil eye curses as you have already seen are diverse and practically anything you can imagine can be integrated into a curse. However it is also true that we can take inspiration from the past and there were many different tortures which existed a long time ago. But one very easy type of curse to use is an evil eye curse utilising the idea of hanging. Hanging also has the advantage that it is very easy for most people to visualise because all you really need to think of is the person with a rope around their neck and being hung from the gallows. But we need our visualisation of this to be short and so this is really what makes it easier, because if the visualisation was long it would be difficult. However it would be a good idea to first find a picture of a noose and a gallows: the upside down L on which the noose is hung.
