Chapter Two

As Leah’s arms wrapped around his neck, Logan ran his hands up her body, ruching the cotton of her dress and making her shiver. His lips grazed her neck, her shoulder, the strap of her dress, and she moaned.

”If you want me to stop, I’d suggest not moaning,” Logan whispered into her ear as his hands slinked up into her hair.

“Mm-hmm…” Leah undulated in his grasp, sliding her hips and thighs over his jeans, a fluid match to the DJ’s beat. She wanted his hands to run over her, wanted him lost in her body as they moved together on the dance floor. Leah’s hands ran down his arms, over the snake tattoo curving ’round and ’round, to his waist. Her fingers found the hem of his shirt and tucked inside, climbing over his belt, his waistband, to his rippled stomach. She inched higher, questing for the stainless steel she knew she’d find. When she stumbled upon it, when her fingers danced with the hoops piercing his chest, she heard him moan. He crushed into her, burying his face in her hair as she twirled and tugged and sent him into orbit as they danced.

His hands slid down her body, fingers running over her dress and down her back. They dug into her ribs, bruising her skin as she teased him on the dance floor. She’d forgotten how dancing with Logan could turn her on, how it could light her fuel and hit her accelerator, punch her down the highway and cure her frustration with a steady rumble.

She raked her nails down his chest and sides as his teeth grazed her shoulder, nipping her neck. She leaned into him, begging for more, and he obeyed, running his hands up her sides to her breasts, firm and needy and waiting for him. He took them in his hands, squeezing and rubbing and rolling her nipples through the fabric until she hit him, fists balled into his chest, thump-thumping in time to the music. He released her with a laugh, his whole body shaking in silent mirth.

She looked up at him, at his hair falling into his face, his eyes full of desire, and she rose on tiptoe to kiss him. Their lips met, an insatiable tumble of flesh, crushing each other with greed. Her tongue ran over his lips and she tasted him, a mash of faded clove cigarettes and liquor, before his tongue joined hers in their own dance. Their bodies moved, swaying in a sea of dancers as their lips and tongues kept pace. As the tempo ramped up, as the bass slammed through the club, her chest, and her skull, it liquefied her insides, shaking her until she couldn’t tell Logan’s rhythm from the music. The combination, the music and the man, made her head spin and her lungs heave with effort.

As she stepped back and broke their kiss, Logan grabbed her, tugging and twisting until he whipped her around. Her back met his chest as he held her to him, and his cock pressed into her from behind.
