HOW DOES AN ELECTRON EMITS LIGHT

Because nucleus has a positive charge, the electric field of an electron in an atom will be directed towards to the nucleus. As the electric field and magnetic field of an electron are at right angles when an electron vibrates (excited) in an atom, its electric field will be parallel to the vibration, and the magnetic field will be perpendicular to the vibration. This creates a transverse vibration on the electron's magnetic field, and the vibrating magnetic field is radiated to space.
