The perfect passive is formed by putting the past participle after the verb estar "to be (temporarily)". (Estar originally meant "to stand".) This is like the English formation "it is done".

... Masculine singular: está fatigado "he is tired"

... Feminine singular: está fatigada "she is tired"

... Masculine plural: están fatigados "they (masculine) are tired"

... Feminine plural: están fatigadas "they (feminine) are tired"

Meaning: The perfect passive means that the subject has had an action done to it:

... El pollo está asado. "The chicken has been roasted" (ie. someone has roasted it)

... La mujer está fatigada. "The woman has been made tired" (ie. something has tired her)

These sentences indicate a current state of having been roasted or having been tired: the process of roasting or tiring is now complete, and the resulting state now exists.
