Caution

Avoid in acute cases of kidney stones or nephritis: it may be too stimulating. It’s best to begin using goldenrod just past the acute phase.

HERBAL PREPARATIONS

Herb Tea

Standard Infusion

Apply topically to affected areas; drink 1–4 ounces, up to 5 times per day.

Tincture

1 part fresh flowering tops, by weight

2 parts menstruum (95% alcohol), by volume

or

1 part dry herb, by weight

5 parts menstruum (50% alcohol, 50% spring water), by volume

Take 20–60 drops, up to 3 times per day.
