MAKING YOUR OWN SOURDOUGH STARTER.
You can attempt your hand at making your sourdough starter. To maximize your chances of turning on an energetic starter, usage either component fresh ground whole grain flour or rye flour in your blend.
After the blend has begun to ferment, start to feed the mixture water and white flour (either All-Purpose or Bread flour), if you prefer a white sourdough starter. Or maintain feeding the mixture with wholegrain flours to have a whole grain starter. You could attempt something such as this.
The First Day: Add:
- V4 cup organic rye or wheat flour( freshly ground functions best).
- V4 mug bread flour.
- lh cup pineapple or apple cider (you can utilize pure water; however, it takes a couple of days much longer to obtain going).
