Here are some additional qualities you should look for:

Is the candidate competitive?

Does she demonstrate desire, drive and set goals to become highly successful?

Does she believe in the products you sell?

What type of research did she conduct about you and your company before coming in for the interview? Or, did she do research at all?

Is the candidate leaving her prior position on good terms? Ask about every position on her resume. Ask about her responsibilities, the training program and specifically ask why she left. Look for positive or negative indicators.

Why is she looking for a new position today?

Is she confident in her own abilities and open to trying new ways of doing things?
