Saint

She didn’t last long after she snuggled in close to me. Before I knew it, she had passed out. I want to punch myself in the face. What is wrong with me? Why couldn’t I have leaned in and kissed her like she wanted? Instead I had to act like an animal and tell her I wanted to fuck her. I’d bet my life no one has ever spoken to her that way. If I was a better man, I’d let her go. That’s never happening.

When it comes to her, there is no control. I can’t help myself. I’m always going for more. I was the same way when I started peeking into her life. At first I only found her on social media and where she lived. I’d been curious if she lived in town or the mountains. I was surprised she had a place not far from mine. I didn’t like it. Her being all alone out in the middle of nowhere.

Still, finding out where she lived wasn’t enough for me. All of her social media was private, so the next thing I knew I was hacking my way right in. I told myself I was checking her messages to make sure no one was creeping on her. Really I’m a possessive jealous bastard when it comes to her. Never in my life have I felt that way about another human being.

I was happy to see when a few fuckers did try to flirt with her she shied away and pretty much shut it down. What I wasn't thrilled about was the stuff I discovered when I dug a little deeper. Including all those fuckers who were checking out her pages a bit too much. A few of the locals clearly have a crush on her. I can’t blame them, but still I took the liberty to block them.

I knew if I started kissing her here that I wouldn’t be able to control myself. In the kitchen, it was safer. She had food in the oven. I knew time would stop me. She deserves so much more than a quick fuck on a couch. I have to prove to her I’m not a complete asshole. That I can be good to her. That I’m worthy of being her forever.

I slowly shift out from under her before I pick her up. My hands meet her bare legs. She’s warm and soft. If I wasn’t already hard, the small touch would have done it. Everything she does turns me on. She has no clue how sexy she is. She mumbles my name as she wraps her arms around me. The lights flicker as I make my way toward my bedroom.

“Are we losing power?” she asks around a yawn.

“Maybe. I have a generator I can flip on.”

“You have a giant bed. Can we share? I hate the dark,” she says against my neck. I have no doubt it took her everything to ask that, but she pushes past her shyness to do it.
