During all the excitement, Billy didn’t realize that his beloved bear had fallen into the water with all his other opponents. He frantically ran towards the other team, looking for his beloved bear, as they each climbed on to the bank. The lamb who had been playing with Billy’s bear offered it to him quickly. The poor bear was drenched. As Billy tried to hug his bear, a large amount of water gushed from the bear’s body. This made Billy very sad because Bear was not his soft and cuddly self; he was wet and mushy.

The Good Shepherd came to Billy’s side and reminded him that accidents happen. He guaranteed the bear would return to his old self, if he was able to bask in the sun for the remainder of the day. Billy laid his beloved bear on top of Dolly the dog’s house and continued to play with all of the other little ones. Suddenly, everyone raced to the barn for a game of king-of-the-mountain.
