Emmy

It’s the day of the MC’s Christmas party. I'm really excited because I miss Oliver like

crazy. He’s been busy helping his dad the past week so I haven't had a chance to see him. I’ve kept busy with Amy, doing lots of Christmas things, like shopping and setting up the tree.

Oliver and I talk on the phone every night and text all day, but I’ve gotten so used to seeing him on a daily basis that this separation is unbearable. I've been away from him for so long in the past that I don't want to be away from him anymore. The others have tried to keep in touch as much as they could, but Talon and Charlie’s parents have been dragging them to loads of parties and other functions. Ben and I have had a few video calls and we text everyday. Poor Felicity is the only one of us who’s bored out of her mind.

It’s cold as fuck outside. Canadian winters are not something to mess with, yet girls still go out clubbing in short dresses and freeze their asses off just to look good.

Yeah, I'm not like that. So even though this is a party, I'm wearing jeans, a bright red, long sleeved shirt that’s low cut enough to show the top of my breasts and a winter coat.

A knock at the door has me jumping off the couch. When I open the door and see it’s Oliver, I don’t even give him time to say a word before launching myself into his arms.

He catches me and starts to chuckle. “Hey there, Firefly, I missed you too,” he says with a smile in his voice as he holds me tight.

“I missed you so fucking much,” I say, before smashing my lips to his. He kisses me back with just as much passion. I want him so badly that my panties are already getting damp.

A throat clears behind us, causing me to reluctantly break the kiss and detach myself from Oliver. Turning with a sheepish look and red cheeks, I see Amy standing there with her arms crossed and a murderous look on her face.

“Oliver,” she says in a bitter tone as she glares at him.

Oliver nods his head. “Hello, Mrs. Moon. Hope all is well with you?” he says respectfully, as if my foster mother isn’t five seconds away from murdering him and burying his body in the backyard.

“Have her back before midnight. I don't need her getting in trouble with her probation officer because of you,” she snaps.

“Of course. The last thing I want is Emmy to get punished because of me,” he says.

Amy scoffs and rolls her eyes. “Yeah, I'm sure, because you're such a Prince Charming,” she says sarcastically.

“Amy!” I hiss. “We talked about this. I forgave Oliver. I know the truth and I just wanna move on.”

Amy huffs out a breath before she finally nods in acceptance. “I’ll try. But it's not that easy to forget what he did to you...”

“I know what I did was horribly wrong, and I’ve regretted it every day since.
