Love

Warm summer breezes beneath the swaying oak, her hand is soft

like velvet, each touch from her provokes. We sit in silence beneath

this tree, gazing into her eyes. The warmth of her warm, soft breath

leaves me paralyzed.

Love is not a secret or mystery to me, for I feel it every day when

we take silence at our tree. Her lips are soft to the touch, like satin

pillows on her face. Her hair is softly blowing with the summer breeze.

She is pure and gentle, so I handle with such care. I can feel the

beating of her heart as she lays across my chest. I listen close as we

lay there still, for our hearts to beat as one to form a rhythmic choir

that only we can share.

Love is like the swaying oak that we take silence beneath its leaves.

It must be watered every day to survive the blowing breeze. Its roots

are strong and anchored deep, to bear what lies ahead, for there is no

storm that is too strong, for the mighty swaying tree.

As I run my fingers through her hair because I know this comforts

her. I feel like a giant among all men when lying next to her. No, love

is not a mystery, for I feel it every day, as I water our relationship, and

in silence, watch it grow.

The sky begins to change like enraging fire all around, orange and

deep purple, slowly creeping in. Our silence breaks at this moment,

underneath the fiery sky, as I hear her say, I love you, as our fingers

slide across our names.

Carved into the trunk of this mighty swaying oak, we pledged our

love, said our vows, now come here, to further grow. We water, and

we nourish through the silent swaying breeze until we both blossom

with new and shining leaves.

No, love is not a mystery, a mystery to me. As we grab our hands

and hold on tight, saying goodbye to our tree. We shall return again

in time when the thirst inside us grows, to water once again, so the love

inside us grows.
