A man was standing there, dressed like the master of ceremonies you’d see at an old circus like Barnum & Bailey’s. “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! Welcome to the Greatest Show in Tigress’s Head!”

Wait, what? In her head? This was all in her head? She felt her mouth drop open, as the man turned to face her. This was Mesmero, it had to be! That meant she hadn’t actually moved, but he was inside her head! “See here, the oh-so-fearsome Isabella Gutierez! Once, this poor, unfortunate soul thought that she was something special. But now, watch as we, with thanks to our abilities, reach in and take the special parts of her, and remove them so they can be better used.” He waved his hand, and there was a flash of light.
