The following day on set was difficult to say the least. The morning was spent juggling between the two actors as her boss had a morning meeting to attend to. The actress playing lead was Amanda Garcon, and everything she expected of a spoiled Hollywood star. Her coffee was too hot and her room too cold and anything else she could think of to complain about in that moment. She snarled at Maggie and tossed a magazine onto the floor of her trailer.

“I specifically said that I wanted Allure,” she shouted in a squeal. “This is not what I asked for. And while you’re out I would like a bowl of fruit I’m wasting away over here.”

Maggie rolled her eyes as she left and headed towards David’s trailer happily. She gave a soft knock and entered without waiting for a reply. Inside she stood stunned as a beautiful young blonde was sitting on his lap cheerfully. She giggled and then glared towards Maggie standing frozen in the door, her eyes wide with shock. The woman rose and swaggered her way out of the trailer, leaving Maggie to face David alone without so much as another glance in her direction. Her eyes narrowed in anger and yet she kept her cool, knowing she had a job to do.

“Is there anything you need Mr. Krill?” Her tone was steadied and calm yet her eyes told the truth.

“Maggie don’t be like that,” he sighed. “That was my ex-girlfriend. Rumors got out about us at the restaurant last night and she came by in a jealous fit to see if it was true. She did that on purpose to upset you.”

“Well it worked.” Maggie snapped and left the trailer, ignoring David’s desperate calls behind her.

She headed straight for the bathroom and rushed inside. The days stress was wearing on her between the ridiculous complaining of the actress and now finding David with some polished Hollywood girl sitting comfy on his lap. She burst into tears, her makeup streaming down her cheeks as she sobbed. Maybe I’m not cut out for this. She began to doubt her own good senses in accepting the internship. Even David has said that I seem like I don’t fit in here. It seemed there was no pleasing any of them, especially her arrogant and rude boss Mr. Guise. Maggie began to consider contacting the school and seeing if she could be relocated, maybe to a quiet theater setting where the actors hadn’t grown big headed from the fame and the producers would be happy to have her there. David was a Hollywood star with everything he could ever ask for, what made her think that a real relationship could come out of it all she didn’t know. She decided that things between the two of them would remain strictly business until the final scene and then she would block him from her life. Suddenly the door opened and Carrie stepped quietly inside. She paused, noticing the tears in Maggie’s eyes and walked over smiling.
