Crystal points

» 2–4 Amethyst points placed around the Third Eye, pointing in towards the Sodalite crystal.

» 3 large Blue Kyanite blades placed just below and either side of the Citrine crystal. Two of the blades should point in towards the Throat Chakra like an arrowhead, with the tip of the arrowhead being the Citrine crystal. The third blade should be directly below the Citrine crystal, like the shaft of the arrow.

» 2 Clear Quartz points placed either side of the shaft Kyanite blade, also pointing upwards and in towards the Citrine crystal.

» 2–4 Citrine points placed around the Solar Plexus, pointing in towards the Tiger’s Eye.

The healing

This crystal layout will help to open the Throat Chakra and is excellent for healing all areas of communication and personal expression. It is especially beneficial if the chakra is in a weakened state.

The Throat Chakra resonates with the vibration of blue energy, so we use lots of beautiful blue stones on and around the throat area for this layout.

Sodalite, Kyanite and Blue Lace Agate are all stones for communication, honesty, strength of voice and personal expression. They help us find our inner truth and externalise this through integrity of expression. If we suppress our opinions and expression over a length of time, then the Throat Chakra can become blocked (or weakened) and throat illnesses can occur. We might begin to doubt our own voice and become fearful of speaking in the presence of others.

Sodalite is an amazing Throat Chakra healer, which can be used directly over the Throat Chakra to support communication. Its deep blue colour also resonates with the Third Eye Chakra and I have chosen to place it on the Third Eye in this layout, as its powers of communication, truth, calmness and clarity will be absorbed into this energy centre for developing intuition, wisdom and spiritual growth. Before we can speak with clarity and confidence, we must first embody these qualities on a deeper level, and Sodalite will help us with this process.

Blue Lace Agate on the Throat Chakra works to gently strengthen and heal this entire area. It is supported by Citrine, which is normally a stone for the Solar Plexus and Sacral chakras, but used here it brings radiant light energy and confidence to the Throat. This is essential to help illuminate any buried trauma associated with public speaking or personal expression, which can then be released.

The Throat Chakra is further supported by Kyanite, a high-vibrational stone. It helps us to understand truth on a deeper, more mystical level.
