“I’m famished!” cried Maxie.

They stopped to eat. Theo had a big pot of pudding.

“We have no spoons!” said Theo.

“Help!” Maxie called.

“Help! Help!” cried Theo.

It started to rain.

“HELLLLLP!” they all cried.

“Hello!” a voice called. A ranger shined his flashlight on the Band of Merry Hikers.

“Come with me,” he said.

“This is a very nice shelter!” said Lawrence.

“I built it myself,” said the ranger.

“Have some soup,” said the ranger.

“Hey, I recognize that spoon!” said Theo.
