Particles,

Of light,

Of dark,

Dance around me,

As I sit in oblivion,

Wondering.

They reshape into ambiguous figures,

Difficult to remember,

Hard to forget.

Lament,

As I recognize,

Reflect,

Have I made a mistake?

Reshaping again,

No,

The figure shows me I am good.

Unremittingly,

I stare.

Watch the particles shape and reshape,

Reflect,

And hope to decipher the truth.

Dreams

Of falling and rising,

Of lifting and sighing,

Melting and freezing,

Laughing and dying.

I run to the corner of the Earth,

Dive into the waterfall at its end,

Swim with a lone creature,

Its broken heart I mend.

Change of scene,

On the jungle floor I lay,

Leopards and lions surround me,

I tell them to go away.

How am I not scared?

I would normally tremble in fear,

I wake up in a sweat,

And wonder for a good year.
