f you have the opportunity of searching the memories of many investors, you would realize that the mental pictures of the last recession are still fresh. The ruins that came with the period left scars on many lives and businesses. Retirement plans were shattered, and career developments went into comas. Situations got worse because people overreacted to the financial downturn. Many thought (and probably still think) that the recession was the Armageddon. You probably are one of these people and that is why you are reading this book. Would you believe if I told you that amidst all the panic, some people made millions off the disastrous time? It may be hard for you to believe but, a lot of tolerant and systematic investors took advantage of the period as an opportunity.

I once read about a businessman who lost about 35% of his net worth due to the economic downturn and this will make him either dread the period for the rest of his life or find a hack to it. Of course, you would choose to find a solution rather than live in fear of the inevitable.

Capitalizing on a crisis is unequivocally unsafe especially when you are not certain of the recovery time. Making money during this period might come off as a slightly tricky task but it is a real possibility. You can simply end up smiling real big when the economy recovers just by taking that leap of faith without allowing panic and fear of loss to ruin your chances.
