Now we’re ready to pose Rain once again:

We’ve got a lot of posing ahead of us, but to save a little time on Rain’s initial pose, we can fetch the one we made in the previous chapter.

Using a pose asset

Like Rain’s object collection and most other forms of data in Blender, the pose we made earlier is an action datablock that can be linked or appended from one .blend file into another. We’re going to append that pose so it can help us in our current animation.

Important note

Using our standing pose asset can save us some time, but not that much time. If for any reason you can’t properly apply the pose we’re looking for, it’s not a showstopper. Just do the pose again manually, as we learned in Chapter 6, and continue to the next section.
