It is WIIFM, which stands for âWhatâs in it for me?â Although I tend to believe people are good by nature and really do care about one another, I also believe that when you present something to anyone about anything, the first thought that pops into the personâs head is âWhatâs in it for me?â
Potential Cash Providers want to know how the information you are presenting to them is going to affect them. Potential Cash Providers want to know how to protect their money and how they are going to get out of the deal. Now, in most situations, potential Cash Providers are not going to actually ask you whatâs in it for them. Some very direct and bottom-line-oriented people might ask this question. But in most situations, people are not going to be that bold. However, every single potential Cash Provider will at least be thinking about this. So as the Deal Provider, you need to be ahead of the Cash Provider. Before you step foot into the meeting with potential Cash Providers, you need to be 100 percent prepared. You need to be ready to answer these questions for each potential Cash Provider:
