Visualizing Your Own Body

■ Go to your basic psychic level.

■ Cause your own body to appear in your mental imagery. Study your body in detail, front and rear.

■ Mentally describe what you are looking at. For example, think, "Long blond hair. Small mole on left cheek. Skinny legs." Be specific.

■ Study your body until you are intimately familiar with it in its exterior appearance.

■ Mentally say to yourself, "I can bring the presence of any creature into my mental vision merely by asking that creature to appear to me.

■ When you are finished, open your eyes.

Some of your future psychic work may be with people or concerning people, and you will often need to call them into your mental imagery to communicate with them.

By having you visualize your own body, I condition you to look at bodies without embarrassment.

You are not invading a person's privacy by calling him or her into your mental vision. What you are really doing is establishing a psychic communications link with that person. The person (or creature or entity) that you call into your mental vision may not necessarily look exactly like a photograph. In fact, the image may be fuzzy or just a suggestion of some person, creature, or entity. You may see only a formless shape. When you call someone or something into your mental vision, whatever image you get is okay, because all you are doing is establishing communications. Recall what I said in an earlier chapter just pretend; it works.

To help others or to perform psychic healing on people or any other creature, it is most effective when you bring the person's or creature's presence into your mind. Here is how I did this with a dog.
