CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

CATLIN

“The club?” My voice is soft as I muster through my question. “Is that the kind of things you like?”

Delicately pushing me from his chest, Finn rolls onto his side until we are facing each other. With my hands on his chest and his resting on my hip, his answer is honest. “That depends on what you saw.”

“I saw a lot.”

“One at a time then.” He gives a gentle nod for me to ask away.

“Watching? Or being the one they’re watching?”

“Yes,” he answers quickly, with no need to think about it.

“Oh…” I let out a little gasp, quickly gathering my thoughts. While walking that hallway felt dirty and wrong, there was something arousing and exciting about it as well.

“It’s not something you need to do tomorrow.” He rubs his thumb over my hip bone. “Or ever, if you aren’t comfortable. Both watching or being watched.”

“I kind of enjoyed watching. It was… Just, it was a lot.”

There’s a glimmer in his eyes, and his voice is laced with a tinge of excitement. “What else did you see?”

Thinking back on the acts I briefly saw, I recount the man with the same paddle Sister Francine had at boarding school—and how it only took one strike to never want to upset her again. “The paddles?”

“Piscín, I would never want to hurt that gorgeous ass of yours.” His hand slides over my hip, and he firmly cups the cheek of my butt. “That’s definitely Liam’s thing,” he shares, and I can feel my brows scrunch in confusion.

Liam seems so sweet.

“There was a woman tied to some sort of bench.” I recall the woman completely helpless as a man had his way with her so roughly that tears painted her cheeks.

“Never,” he reassures me, as though he knew exactly what window I was referring to.

“I don’t get off on impact play—the paddles—or the idea of having you tied up. I have different needs,” he informs me. “More primitive. Primal.”

I stare back at him, not sure what to ask but wanting to know more.

“Teeth. Digging my fingers into your flesh. Nails.” He cocks a brow and looks at his shoulder, drawing attention to the deep scratches from my nails. “How you nearly drew blood when you clawed at my skin as you came.”

I run my fingers over the tender marks I didn’t know I had inflicted on him.

“I don’t want you bound in submission. I want you to fight, make me chase you down, and overpower you as I take what I want. Taking you the way we both secretly know you want me to.”

I swallow hard. “Like after the club in the park?”

Finn answers with a needy growl, “Exactly like the fucking park.”

“You liked chasing me?”

“In that moment, no,” he answers. “I was worried about losing you, what you’d seen, and how hurt you were. But yes, in different circumstances, I would’ve happily ripped off your panties and fucked you raw in the grass.”

A flush creeps over my cheeks as I remember being forcefully pinned beneath him, my heart racing with fear and adrenaline.
